F1 Press Coverage
22 July 2008
News of the launch of the new F1 Lithium from Stewart Golf has travelled far and wide with unprecedented editorial coverage across all media types. Golf titles such as Today's Golfer, Golf World, Golf Monthly, Golf News & Golf International have been joined by the likes of GQ and Stuff in picking up the news story about the new £2500 F1 Lithium.
Below are just a few of the comments that the F1 Lithium has attracted. Due to the very limited availability of the F1 Lithium, no magazines have had a chance to test the product yet; these test models will be available later in 2008.
Today's Golfer:
Stewart Golf have never made bad electric trolleys, but their latest innovation has pushed the boundaries even further... While some manufacturers make the odd tweak here and there to their trolleys, Stewart Golf have made some big changes... In short, it's a lighter, sleeker, better version of one of the best electric trolleys we've ever tested.
Golf International:
Already known for their top-end, ultra-stylish powered trolleys, Stewart Golf have surpassed themselves with their new F1 Lithium which looks like it was carefully crafted from spare parts from Lewis Hamilton's McLaren. The F1 Lithium comprehensively 'laps' it's predecessor with an effortlessly portable chassis (which folds up via two build-in hinges) that brings the weight down to just 14kg including the Li-Ion battery pack. Most seductive is how the bag-supporting stand of the X3R has been ditched in favour of two lightweight aluminium rods hidden (together with the handle) within a specially designed Stewart golf bag that is now integral to the whole trolley.
Golf News:
Short of having a chauffeur-driven Roller carrying your clubs around the course, Stewart Golf's new F1 Lithium is arguably the most pampered form of travel your kit could possibly enjoy... Having someone to operate the F1 is an optional extra!
Stuff Magazine:
The F1 Lithium was featured in an article called 'The Rich List' alongside a £100,000 IPhone and a $70,000 Platinum Swiss Army Knife.
They say happiness is the measure of true wealth. Rubbish: it's money, and lots of it - all spent on gadgets worth more than life itself. One shouldn't have to push one's own bats around, should one? Neither do we want a caddy. The little blighters are all backchat and 'advice', aren't they? If, like us, you fancy a more peaceful round, try the Stewart Golf F1 Lithium remote controlled trolley.
