The third annual Stewart Golf Classic takes place at The Shire London on May 29th. Organised with the help of the golf team at SPARKS, our nominated charity for the third year in a row. With your help we hope to beat last years total of just over £7000, and also make this year's day the best so far.

 

For those of you who have booked places at the third Stewart Golf Classic, please read on for the days itinerary.

 

0830. Player registration opens, with coffee and bacon rolls.

1000. Registration closes - make sure you are at The Shire by now!

1100. Shotgun start.

1700. Post golf drinks.

1800. 3 course sit down dinner followed by prize giving, entertainment & auction.

 

Things to remember:

  • We are all hoping for sun and the course allows tailored shorts on the course.
  • Dress code is customary golf club 'smart casual' as you'd expect. Jackets and ties are not required unless you would like to wear them.
  • Please make sure you're at The Shire at least 1 hour before the start to make sure you are registered and introduced to your team in good time.
  • Although the main competition is a team one, the player with the best individual score will win one of the first F1 Lithiums to be made. In order to be fair to all involved, the prize winner will be asked to prove their handicap - so bring your handicap certificate or risk disapointment!

We are expecting a healthy crop of our VIP customers at the day, with DJ Spoony, Vernon Kay, Tiff Needell, Anton Du Beke and many more all expected to play in the day.

 

After dinner, snooker legend Willie Thorne will provide the evenings entertainment and also run the auction where we have some very special items, including a 4-ball with Matt Dawson.

 

Both before and after the golf, you will also get a chance to have a good look around the new F1 Lithium. After dinner we will make a short presentation about the new machine and we would love to hear your feedback. The waiting list for the F1 Lithium is growing all the time, so please contact us asap on sales@stewartgolf.com with your details or talk to any of our staff at the golf day.
