££££'s raised for SPARKS...

1 March 2007

As part of the ongoing partnership between Stewart Golf and SPARKS, two X3R's were auctioned off at the SPARKS golf dinner in London.

The customised X3R that has been signed throughout 2006 by over 30 celebrities including Sam Torrance, Vernon Kay & Glenn Hoddle was auctioned as one of the main lots and raised £4000. In addition to the X3 Custom, a standard X3R was sold in a silent auction for £901, making a total of just under £5000 for both trolleys.

Director Mark Stewart was on hand to present esteemed actor and SPARKS President Robert Powell with his own X3R to use at SPARKS golf events throughout the year.

Mark Stewart said, "I am delighted that we have raised so much money for SPARKS tonight. The total of over £70,000 is beyond all of our expectations and we are all so proud to have been able to contribute. The generosity of everyone involved with SPARKS continues to astound me and I hope that Stewart Golf can continue to play a part in their success."

Stewart Golf have chosen SPARKS as their nominated charity for 2007. As well as donating a number of products for auction, SPARKS are also helping to run the 2007 Stewart Golf Classic. Stewart Golf Directors David Funnell and Mark Stewart are also competing in the 2007 London Triathlon in aid of SPARKS.
