Radio Missed Signals

There are a number of reasons why your trolley may stop on the golf course.

Missed signals: If you don't have line of sight to the trolley then a signal may not get through.

Interference: Any kind of electrical noise on a course could lead to a missed signal. Power lines (overhead and embedded in paths), metal reinforcement grids, cattle grids, mobile phones, GPS equipment etc can all either emit or interrupt signals.

Stay awake signals: The handset will send a 'stay awake' signal to the trolley every few seconds, this lets the trolley know the handset is still in range. The trolley is expecting to receive these, so if it doesn't receive one it will assume it is out of range and apply the brake.
